KPMG’s Sustainability Services team combines a multi-disciplinary approach with deep, practical industry knowledge to help clients meet challenges and risk associated with emerging ESG/Sustainability related issues and respond to business opportunities.

Major duties and responsibilities
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team across a range of industries to assist companies in better understand and develop solutions to respond to the complex and evolving policy, regulatory, and business environment risks and opportunities associated with Corporate Sustainability and ESG.
Review/analyze corporate activities and provide recommendations related to enhance their sustainability/ESG strategy, methods, framework, and related tools to support clients in achieving their sustainability/ ESG objectives.
Assist with the review and development of sustainability/ESG programs and related reporting, such as materiality assessments, peer benchmarking, stakeholder engagement, gap analysis, metric/KPI identification (in alignment with common sustainability/ESG reporting standards such as GRI), and the preparation of reporting (internal and external) materials.
Work with engagement teams to perform fieldwork, including data collection, analysis, and work paper documentation; prepare, edit, and proofread narrative reports and presentations of observations and recommendations.
Support team leads with client relationships, business development efforts, and drafting thought leadership, as well as internal collateral and pieces of training on sustainability and ESG topics; work closely, but independently, under the direction of Managers, Directors, and Partners.
Ability to obtain and present appropriate assurance evidence, address the relevant assurance objectives, and demonstrates its relevance to the rest of the assurance.
Document the results of their assurance work in accordance with KPMG Sustainability Assurance Methodology (KSAM), regulatory requirements, and using applicable IT systems and tools.
Collection and research of relevant sustainability data (i.e. benchmarking, trends, regulatory developments).
